Thaddeus Stevens Room

Named for the famed abolitionist who had an office in Gettysburg, this is one of our most popular rooms. It features a dedicated bathroom and a corner view onto Washington and High Streets.


Rebecca Eyster Room

Named for the teacher that was in charge of the “Female Academy” housed in the building at the time of the battle, most people know her as the person who sent students home when battle was imminent. Beautiful corner room with dedicated bath.


Tillie Pierce Room

As a young girl of 14, Tillie Pierce was attending school in this building when the Battle of Gettysburg broke out. She was sent home by her headmaster, and later in life she wrote her memoir recounting her experiences in July 1863. Shares a dedicated bathroom with tshares a dedicated bathroom with the Simon Schmucker and Basil Biggs rooms. The rooms can be booked as a package of two rooms or all three rooms, making a wonderful option for friend groups or families.


Simon Schmucker Room

Named after the founder of the Lutheran Seminary at Gettysburg, which started its life in this building, this is a beautifully appointed room that shares a dedicated bathroom with the Tillie Pierce and Basil Biggs rooms. The rooms can be booked as a package of two rooms or all three rooms, making a wonderful option for friend groups or families.


Basil Biggs Room

Named for one of Gettysburg’s most prominent citizens, Basil Biggs was a black man who made a lasting impact on Gettysburg. His contract to bury soldiers in the new cemetery solidified his name in Gettysburg’s history. This gorgeous room shares a dedicated bathroom shares a dedicated bathroom with the Tillie Pierce and Samuel Schmucker rooms. The rooms can be booked as a package of two rooms or all three rooms, making a wonderful option for friend groups or families.
